Tracy Dickerson - back ground

Hi, my name is Tracy Dickerson-Scherer and I am a Sullivan University Student Ambassador, let me tell you a little about myself and how I became a student ambassador at Sullivan.

I have been attending Sullivan University for quite some time, I have two children - one in his first year of college and the other in the 7th grade.  My oldest plays football in college and my daughter plays volleyball, and with me being a part-time student you can see that I am rather busy.

I am in the 3rd quarter of my bachelors program and I'm looking forward to the 2-week break that is coming up...lol.  But I am also looking forward to moving forward with my education and continuing to grow each quarter.

I became a student ambassador for Sullivan University because I am a returning student to Sullivan and I felt that the one thing that Sullivan was missing was someone that understood my delima of being an active mother, and trying to juggle a busy schedule.  There was an email sent out about becoming a student ambassador but they were looking for younger students at that time.  Fortunately for me I asked the right question to the right people and I was offered and opportunity to interview for an adult ambassador.

Being an ambassador has and is teaching me to learn how to take full advantage of the opportunities that are either in front of me as well as connect and meet some really wonderful and interesting people.

Thank you Sullivan for making my return to college a wonderful learning and life experience.
